Tim Thielges

 

...spent his childhood learning how to landscape with his mother. He attended public school in Canby, Minnesota and spent his summers working for Snortum’s Nursery and neighboring farmers. It was his experience working on a farm which taught him hard work and dedication.

After high school graduation Tim attended Brainerd Technical College where he earned a degree in Landscape Technology. In 1981 Tim began working for Bachmans Nursery in Minneapolis as a Nurseryman developing inventory systems, maintaining thousands of nursery stock containers and managing nursery staff.

 

In the spring of 1993 Tim began working independently and Avant Gardens of Minnesota was established. Tim’s hard work and exquisite attention to detail became his advertising and “Embellishing Nature” became his motto. Throughout the last two decades Tim has worked on commercial and residential properties across the upper Mid-west. By doing so he has developed a reputation for being one of the premiere landscape designers
in the area.

 

If Tim isn’t building a waterfall or installing a landscape you would likely to find him fishing on the quiet bend of the nearest river.
